Just a few of the first photos … love the saxophone!

Just a few of the first photos … love the saxophone!

I could go on and on about how stunning Cami is and how easy it was to photograph her (despite the outrageous humidity), but those of you who know her, know that she’s as nice and down-to-earth as she is beautiful. I think she really does radiate all the beauty that’s inside her tiny dancer’s body! Cami and her mom were such good sports on this insanely hot and humid July night, and I want to take this chance to thank them again for choosing us to take Cami’s portraits. These photos will long be some of my favorites. Thanks to Coach Sunderman for his help with the tennis shots and, Cami, have fun with your senior year!!
p.s. The chalk board picture with Cami’s name is part of a 2011 senior project we’re working on! Want in on it? There’s still time to book a session

I have to make a disclaimer right off the bat – I’m not a ‘cat person’ at all. I’m a dog, bird, guinea pig, bunny, fish and anything else but cat person. That being said, there are some pretty cool cats out there and this is one of them – but he apparently doesn’t care for blue popsicles – as you will see.

How these young ladies aren’t already the stars of their own series (books of course – not television!) I can’t imagine. Miss E is five and it was ‘her’ portrait session but in the tradition of all good younger sisters, LK got in on the action as well. A buggy summer evening, some gorgeous dresses and custom-designed hair bows (thanks to the talented and lovely mother – who owes me BIG TIME for not putting her photos up here too) and spirited sisters made for a wonderful time.
